Joint Meeting Held with Telecom Companies
ATRA organized a joint meeting with telecom companies to provide telecommunications for Wakhan residents of Badakhshan province.
It was the first meeting held with telecom companies for providing telecom facilities to Wakhan residents of Badakhshan through deploying telecom towers.
The meeting chaired by Mufti Najmuddin Mullahkhel, Admin and Finance Vice-Chairman of ATRA, talked over identifying effective locations for deploying telecom towers, technical issues and as well how to provide telecommunications, and the telecom companies were asked to share their plans and programs with ATRA in this regard. It is to mention that the Ministers’ Cabinet of Islamic Emirate had lately tasked Ministry of Communications and IT to provide telecommunications for Wakhan residents of Badakhan.
