H.E Mauwlavi Najeebullah Haqani, Minister of Communications and IT, Mauwlavi Saduddin Saeed, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture, Qari Mohammad Yusuf Ahmadi, Vice-Spokesman for the Islamic Emirat of Afghanistan, Mauwlavi Rahmatullah Maki, General Director for Afghan Post, Ahmad Masoud Latifrai, Deputy Communications Minister, Engineer Ali Ahmad Samand, Afghan Telecom Director, Mufti Najmuddin Mullahkhel, ATRA Admin and Finance Vice-Chairman; as well as the authority advisors and directors, attended the ceremony held in regard to the new ATRA Chairman’s introduction.
Respected Qari Abdul Satar Saeed, representing State Affairs, read out the decree of H.E. Amirul Muminin Hafazahullah regarding the designation of Mr. Saed Baraat Shah Agha Nadeem as ATRA’s new chairman in this ceremony.
Congratulating the new chairman, H.E. Mauwlavi Najeebullah Haqani assured the chairman of any support and cooperation, and addressing the officials, he stated that, “the staff’s support and cooperation should be doubled more than before in order to boost the telecom sector.”.
Mauwlavi Saduddin Saeed, Deputy Information and Culture Minister, mentioned that ATRA is an important authority in the country, and tasks and duties of this entity have been carried out very honestly so far. This designation is also appropriate.
“I am sure that Mauwlavi Saheb would have better and further progress in this sector,” said Mr. Saeed. Qari Mohammad Yusuf, Vice-Spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, also termed the telecom sector important and added, “Telecommunication is presently one of the basic facilities of life, and Mauwlavi Saheb requested that he take effective steps in the sector.
Welcoming the new chairman, Mufti Najmuddin Mulahkhel thanked H.E Mauwlavi Najeebullah Haqani and admired his activities and achievements for ATRA as a former acting chairman.
At the end, respectable Mauwlavi Saed Baraat Shah Agha Nadeem, ATRA newly appointed Chairman, thanked H. E Amirul Muminin Hafazahullah for his trust and belief and stated, “There would be more efforts to keep this trust and belief and addressed the officials to carry out the tasks and duties faithfully, honestly, and in a good will.
