A Memorandum of Understanding Signed between ATRA and Ministry of Public Health for Establishing Distance Health Services Provisioning System

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz, Minister of Public Health and Dr. Mohammad Najeeb Azizi, ATRA Chairman for establishing distance health services provisioning system for the country, in a press conference.

Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz, Dr. Mohammad Najeeb Azizi, senior officials of both organizations and a number of media representatives participated in a press conference held on this occasion.

Dr. Mohammad Najeeb Azizi stated in the conference “ this MoU was signed for propagating modern technology, establishing distance health services provisioning system under ICT expansion program and implementing universal access policy for improving life of the country people, funded by TDF”.

Thanking ATRA, Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz later on said that “health services will be improved, better opportunity for transparency and sharing experiences between country health centers will be provided and further the countrymen would have reduction for high costs of treatment abroad the country”.

The Health Minister also termed establishing this system positive and added “province and center doctors would be connected and opportunity for providing standardized health services would be provided for the country people, in particular, for patients whose diseases diagnosis is difficult in remote areas”.
